When Noor lost her husband and was left to care for 5 children on her own in a rural village, she was struggling to feed her family.
Later, she received help through our widow feeding program, and she also took out a micro-loan to develop a banana grove. She paid back the loan, and with her income, she is able to feed her family 3 meals a day.
As she continued to receive training through our agricultural development program, she took out a second loan to cultivate this field of gourd squash, which was even more profitable. Now her children are also able to go to school.
Micro-loans help to break the cycle of poverty and empower the marginalized in these rural communities while bringing opportunities to share the love and hope of Christ.
